Remembrance Golf Day for Legacy
Remembrance Golf Day for Legacy (2.1 mins)
Members of Joint Task Force 633, based in the Middle East Area of Operations, have issued an appeal for golfers around Australia to step up and tee off in support of Remembrance Golf in 2014. Staged during the week of Remembrance Day, Legacy alongside Golf Australia is encouraging clubs around the nation to help raise funds by asking their players for a gold coin donation on top of their regular green fees. Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering financially and socially after the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. Legacy currently cares for 100,000 widows and 1,900 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.
