Arts for Recovery, Resilience, Teamwork and Skills program (2.32 mins)

The ADF ARRTS Program assists Defence personnel experiencing health and wellbeing issues. Participants are engaged in one of three creative streams, which includes music and rhythm, visual arts and creative writing. Each participants is mentored by an expert in their particular creative stream, and operates in a non-rank and non-military uniform environment. On the 29 November 2019, as part of the culminating activity for the ADF ARRTS four-week residential program, the second for the year, participants’ creative works and performances were on display for families, friends and VIPS at the University of Canberra’s Inspire Centre. Since the ADF ARRTS Program’s inception in 2015, 221 people have participated in the program.
